Important Notices

Riders should read the "code of coduct" for the MRTL. Go to:

14 is the minimum age for membership of the MRTL.

There is no entry on the line Friday nights. Entries close at noon on the Saturday before the meeting, and can't be accepted after this time.

The rules of entry for the MRTL are the same as those for road races or time trials. Once a rider's name is on the start sheet, it is his/her responsibility to start the event. The track league has to pay levies and insurance for all riders whose names appear on the start sheet, and because of this there can be no refund of entry fees, or transfer of an entry to a later date.

Because of the number of entries being received for the Friday night track league we sometimes have to introduce 5 groups. In order to cope with this, racing will now start at 7.30pm. Warm up as usual at 7pm.

Youth riders must have maximum gearing as follows: Youth "A" = 6.93, Youth "B" = 6.45. Any rider not meeting the above restrictions will not be allowed to start.

Due to problems caused by "pay on the night", telephone, and email entries, we have had to bring our entry system into line with road races and time trials. This means that only entries accompanied with the entry fee on Friday night, or arriving in the post or by hand the following morning, will be accepted.

The 2012 spring sessions of the MRTL are as follows:
Premier Division - 10th January - 20th March
Division1 - 13th January - 23rd March

The 18th AGM of the MRTLwill take place on Monday, March 5th, 2012, in the Board Room at the National Cycling Centre Manchester, starting at 8.00pm

If any members are interested in serving on the MRTL Committee, the following positions are up for election: Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, First Division Organizer, Premier Division Organizer, Technical Director, Press & Media Officer, First Division Representative, Premier Division Representative.

Any nominations for these posts must be sent to the General Secretary of the MRTL – Peter Lickfold (address on the website home page) - to arrive by February 13th 2012. All nominations must be seconded, and accompanied by the nominees consent.
